NIC Profiles does not require an account and never transmits your data anywhere — everything
it stores lives in a single local file on your own device. You are always free to delete it
yourself; no request to us is required.
1. Deleting individual profiles within the App
Open NIC Profiles, find the adapter card for the profile you want to remove, and choose
Delete next to that profile. This removes it immediately from
profiles.json.
2. Deleting all of your data
To remove every saved profile at once, delete the entire profiles file instead of removing them
one by one. Close NIC Profiles, then delete:
%AppData%\NICProfiles\profiles.json
The app will recreate an empty file the next time it saves a profile.
3. Uninstalling the App
NIC Profiles does not require an account, so there is no separate account to delete. Uninstalling
the app through Windows Settings or the Microsoft Store removes the application itself. If the
%AppData%\NICProfiles folder is still present afterward, you can delete it manually
using the path above to remove any remaining saved profiles.
4. What's stored
The only data NIC Profiles stores is the network profiles you create yourself: a name you chose,
plus IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS server values. Nothing else is collected, and
nothing is ever sent off your device.
