1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using NIC Profiles (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these
Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Description of the service
NIC Profiles is a Windows desktop utility for viewing Ethernet adapter status and IP
configuration, and for saving and applying named network profiles (DHCP or manual/static IP,
gateway, and DNS) to your adapters.
3. Administrator access
Applying a profile or toggling a protocol binding changes system network configuration and
requires administrator rights. The App launches a small companion helper process elevated via a
standard Windows UAC prompt to make these changes; you will be asked to approve each such
action.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the network profiles you create and for verifying that
applying a profile is appropriate for the network you're connecting to. Applying an incorrect
static IP, gateway, or DNS configuration can disrupt network connectivity on the device.
5. No account, no subscriptions
NIC Profiles does not require an account and has no paid features, subscriptions, or in-app
purchases. It is distributed through the Microsoft Store, subject to that platform's terms.
6. Intellectual property

You may not copy, reverse engineer, or redistribute the App except as permitted by applicable
law.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or
implied, including as to the accuracy of adapter information displayed or the correctness of
configuration changes applied.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sightline Technologies, LLC shall not be liable for any
indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of network connectivity or lost
productivity, arising from your use of the App.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are
posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of
law principles.
